New Website & Update
22nd May 2020
Life has been quite different the past few months for all of us.
It seems like a good time to tell you about how my life and herbal practise has been different recently..
I am very excited about my new website designed by my brother and very grateful for this. Hopefully making it easier for you to find me online and learn more about what I have to offer.
Becuase of the coronavirus (covid-19) lock down and social distancing measures I have had to change the way I work as a Herbalist a fair bit. I am currently only working on a Friday from my Herbal dispensary upstairs at the Pillars of Hercules farmshop, which allows me to continue mixing herbs for current clients and taking on a limited number of new clients via online skype consultations and phone calls because I can't see peope in person. It's possible, but not quite the same as an 'in person' consultation becuase nothing beats real human connection as we are all learning just now. However, I do have the capacity to offer skype consultations and to send out the prescribed herbs via post (thank you Royal Mail!), so please get in touch if you are interested in booking one, I am usually available for this on a Friday morning if you book in advance.
I am currently unable to offer consultations on a Thursday from the Enlighten Cupar Hub because the space is currently closed. However, I have been using this time to grow herbs and make herbal remedies to keep my dispensary stocked at Meadowsweet Organics, where I grow a lot of the herbs I use in my practise.
Unfortunatly, I also am currently unable to offer herb walks and workshops at this time becuase of the social distancing measures and ban on social gatherings, but hope to offer something once this changes because it's such an exciting time of year for foraging, plant finding and herbal remedy making!
I have also been enjoying using this quiet time to learn more, contemplate and plan the future of my Herbal Medicine practise by studing herbs, making remedies, re-stocking my dispensary, spening time in nature, growing herbs, dreaming up ideas and figuring out how to make things work better. I also work 3 days a week on the farm at Pillars of Hercules, so you might see me there stocking up the veg shop, which keeps me very busy and helps to support my work as a Herbalist.
I hope you're all staying well and enjoying this breathing space. Please get in touch if you're interested in finding out more or booking a skype video consultation; rosyherbalist@gmail.com 07990545654
